Gums has claustrophobia, a fear of confined places.
He gets so scared when he finds himself in such a situation that
he turns into a WereBear, whatever the time of day, until the danger
has passed. Although he has no teeth, he is still a very fierce
fighter and if the TerribleTeds pick on him for being gummy they
can get an unpleasant surprise.
Gums is very keen on wildlife and nature and is the best in the
group at making friends with other animals, because of his normally
gentle temperament.
His ambition in life is to have some teeth, and he keeps a toothbrush
in his pocket, just in case he wakes up one day and finds that
he has grown a few. |
